A Vibrant Civic Waterfront: A collaborative vision for the future of the Royal Docks

17 June 2021

17:30 -19:00

Join us for an interactive session exploring a collaborative vision for the future of the Royal Docks waterfront!

The University of East London, in collaboration with Babylon-Blue, a pioneering company in Urban Water living developments, will present a joint project for the design and execution of a sustainable floating community in the Royal Docks, with the first prototype scheduled for the end of 2021.

The session will be organised as a series of short presentations followed by a round table with Q&A and we will invite the audience to engage in an open discussion about the future of the Royal Docks waterfront.

The event is curated by Armor Gutierrez Rivas, Senior Lecturer at UEL, and will be moderated by Rosa Rogina, Programme Director at LFA and will include the following speakers:

Daniel Bridge, Royal Docks Programme Director.
Ana Paula Gomes Kouzak, UEL Unit 8 Master of Architecture student representative.
Darryl John Newport, Director UEL Sustainability Research Institute.
Maryam Zonouzi, Co-Founder Lemon Leopard.
Alexander Host, Founder of Babylon-Blue.

The event is free of charge, but registration is required.
We look forward to welcome you to this exciting session!
