Collective imagination: Neo-futuristic Walks

26 June 2021

15:00

Neo-futuristic Walks is a performative event, which portrays our cities as huge lively ecosystems where every individual is interdependent on each other. Thus, by inviting to walk the future of two urban contexts in London and Vilnius, it highlights the act of collective dreaming as a tool for re-enchanting our current relation to the urban environment. During the walk we will explore the areas of Nine Elms-Vauxhall in London and Naujininkai-Kirtimai in Vilnius and will speculate their futures. To join the walk in Nine Elms-Vauxhall please register via the given link. To receive a letter with more detailed information, registration is required.

Neo-futuristic Walks organised by spatial practitioners Aušra Česnauskytė and Goda Verikaitė is ongoing part of Architektūros fondas Experiments’ platform project gathering an interdisciplinary group of students from different creative fields, based in London and Vilnius.

The event is organized by Architektūros fondas, one of the key institutions in the architectural and cultural field in Lithuania, together with Cultural attaché in The United Kingdom, Lithunian Culture Institute.
