Inventive Vents Bus Tour

The Inventive Vents Routemaster bus tour will focus on some of the weird and wonderful ventilation shafts on London’s streets.

The tour will be led by Catherine Croft from the C20 society and stems from a project led by Our Hut and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund which aims to broaden understanding and appreciation of London’s below ground workings – transport, services and sewerage and the need for ventilation.

The starting place will be Stockwell bus garage and return to it following a route around South London and along the North bank of the Thames. There will be several stops for sketching, we will provide materials or feel free to bring your own. Masks must be worn on the bus.
