‘Still in the City’ is a series of ‘portal’ sites curated for the LFA and its theme of ‘Care’; celebrating the diversity of architectural landscapes that are part of London and where we can appreciate the beauty of the built environment. At these ‘portals’ visitors will be able to experience a site-specific open eyes meditation - reactivating our relationship with the city, after a year spent at home.
Locations have been curated for their architectural inspiration and viewpoints.
The 12 locations form a trail at the heart of London. From former-canal basin turned public square, Granary Square to brutalist icon the Barbican and even a secret hideaway in Universal’s own studio. Peppered around this hub are locations reaching north, south and east of the city, including the ruins of St-Dunstans-in-the-East.
The public will be invited to discover these locations across the city using the OPO app, bringing to life these poetic pockets of London, positively reconnecting people and place.
