Traffic Island Garden: site visit

This Guerilla Garden was instigated during the first lockdown, Located at a traffic intersection and overlooked by the elegant, high-density dwellings of Notting Hill, this functional 'island' has been co-opted by artist Alex Julyan. Building on her previous collaborations with architects and health professionals, she identified an immediate need and opportunity to experiment right on her own doorstep. The island now supports an informal culture of care, support and social exchange.

The site is outdoors and visitors are asked to observe government Covid-safe advice and traffic awareness.
