Deadline Approaching!

NEWS |

It’s that time of year again – the deadline for submitting your event proposals for the LFA is rapidly approaching. If you want your event included in the 2021 festival, you’ll need to submit an event proposal before 7th March via your LFA account.

This doesn’t need to be a fully finalised event – just a simple outline proposal. Once your event is approved, you’ll then be able to edit, update and manage your proposal via the LFA website up until our programme launch. You can find out more about submitting via our Open Call here.

Following the government’s announcement on the path out of lockdown, we wanted to offer event organisers a final opportunity to join the LFA team and hear about plans for the festival. You can join our final  LFA Event Organiser Zoom call at 4pm on Tuesday 2nd March.

We’ll talk you through how the changes to lockdown rules should benefit the festival and give us something else to celebrate this June, with an amazing LFA summer in the city.  We’ll also talk you through the process of submitting events, as well as how to finalise your event details once it’s been approved. If you missed our last call you might find this particularly helpful.

Sign Up Here.

If you have specific questions about your event before submitting, you might also like to join our final surgery day on Friday 5th March.

Details here.

The deadline for submitting events doesn’t apply to LFA Patrons, Benefactors and Festival Club members who can continue to submit their events via the website after this date.

Joining the Festival Club is an accessible way to support the Festival, gain extended deadlines and enhanced promotion.  You can find out more and join the Festival Club here.
