Enfield Council has curated an interactive map of the borough, see here www.enfield.gov.uk/LFA, for residents and members of the public to explore and enjoy a diverse range of placemaking projects delivered by the Council and partners over the past few years. The map includes self-guided tours of Enfield Town and Edmonton and highlights exciting projects in the wider borough. These projects showcase how the Council cares for the communities, environment and buildings. Stops on the tours include mixed-use regeneration schemes, community projects, new homes and historic landmarks. In addition, the tours highlight cultural and landscape interventions such as wetlands schemes, rain gardens and the work of local public artists produced during the coronavirus pandemic.
The map will contain visual and written information about the projects, including how they may look in the future, their history and the engaging stories behind them. The tour is inclusive; suitable for anyone on a bike, walking and for those with young children, buggies or using a wheelchair. The interactive map will be accessible on the Enfield Council website, as well as a printer-friendly version.
