RA Lego Challenge

18 June - 25 June

This year, the RA Lego Architecture Challenge is open to both architecture practices and the public alike. Architects, aspiring architects, and those up for some fun can join from home to construct a ‘caring city’.

Now in its 8th year, our annual Lego challenge takes place as part of the London Festival of Architecture. Inspired by the festival theme of “care”, we invite everyone to build their version of a caring city. Think about how we can adjust our buildings and cities to create more enjoyable and accessible environments. Innovative parks as places of reunion, streets that encourage resting or celebrating, houses filled with light and air: we are looking for creative proposals on how our surroundings can care for us.

Your creations can be any size or scale – from whole cities to single room additions to a caring city. You can use your house, garden, or street as part of the scene or as a prop.

Sign up for the challenge below and be the first to receive the brief and additional information on how to take part and be considered by our esteemed jury.

More information on jury and prizes will be announced closer to the time.
